I was given a small amount to try. How much should be added to a UV-10 or a 6 pound rotary ? Any tips on using Lindy A would be appreciated. I am polishing agates and pet wood. Thank you

Save it for cabbing. It is extremely expensive polish.

Greetings Jim, about 1 level teaspoon of Union Carbide's "Linde A" if you plan to re-use about 50-60 times with a heaped teaspoon of Borax, otherwise not much more than about a quarter of 1 level teaspoon of "Linde A" in a 6 pounder or UV10, an eighth of 1 level teaspoon of "Linde A" in a 3 pounder. "Linde A" is 0.3 of a micron (equivalent to 90,000 grit) Aluminum Oxide and now costs $11.40 per ounce ( Eloxite). Two a half years ago i seen a USA vendor selling 0.25 of a micron (equivalent to 100,000 grit) Aluminum Oxide it cost around $8.00 per pound, that stuff is even better than "Linde A", unfortunately i did not retain the url, this was prior of adding Sticky #1: Vendors Worldwide. -- I hail from (The Barony of Seabegs) Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, U.K, where aliens (15mb) sometimes come for a visit & about 4 miles west from this monstrosity! Sticky's: their contents are resource information 1#: Vendors worldwide (2mb), 2#: How to use the forum, 3#: How to identify rocks & minerals, 4#: Save money on expensive grits & polishes!
