Wow what a batch Carlos! Fantastic group of Zapata agates but I think my favorites are the first local wood, the palm and the picture jasper. Is the picture jasper silicified caliche? I was along a road in west Texas right by the New Mexico border and found something kind of like that in appearance but not very well agatized so it wouldn't take a polish....Mel

Mel, that picture jasper was well silicified. I cut it into two pieces and both turned out well but too small. I spotted it in a caliche/gravel parking lot. You know how hounds are, always looking down.

RR beds or parking lot gravel - you have the best 'Oh, look what I found' rocks around...
Great tumble

Wowsers, what a stellar batch! Love them all, that wood is really sweet, the Zapata agates and Jasp-agate are killer, especially the brecciated.

The reason i started the Rock tumbling is seeing phots of rocks like yours. Working on getting my stones to look that cool one day.

Those are all spectacular. I'm partial to anything you find in a parking lot. That was a great pick.
