I had the good fortune of venturing down to Zapata two weekends ago with Matt Dillon and a dozen other members of the Houston Gem and Mineral Society. Brought back a double-milk crate of material, most of which will need to be cut before I know how well I did. These are some of the most promising from the exterior. Whole lot going on in this one small gumdrop agates just waiting for the vibe This isn't showing so much in the pic, but the inside looks like a dark purple I'll post more when I get to cutting. Wow getting to go on a hunt with Matt Dillon is very cool! You made a great haul too. Those little ones are neat and I can't wait to see the inside of that first one.....Mel
