Hello, some of you probably know what a harsh winter is accross Europe, but here is a clip with some houses almost completely covered in snow. Less than 100 miles from where I live. The snow layer was big, but not unexpectedly big. But the blizard piled up the snow around the houses, sometimes up to their roofs. In the first secconds of the clip, the guys are digging a roof of a house which is completely under snow. Unbelievable! ! It's probably part of the global warming phenomen Adrian

Oh my gosh, now that's a lot of snow. Glad they are pulling together to try to dig out.

I hope it does not all melt at once. There will be a worse disaster if it does. Jim

Looks like everybody is taking this storm in stride. Seeing the children sliding down the snow drift gives me the impression that not much snow is normally seen there, since none of the children had sleds. I pray no roofs have fallen in from the snow.

Woody, I think they don't have sleds because the area is purely FLAT, so they normally dont have any slope to enjoy the sledge. This is not a normal snow here, we only had a comparable blizzard back in 1954, when it hit right on our capital city (Bucharest) Here's a link, the text is in Romanian but you can scroll down and watch the pictures from back then. www.rtv.net/cea-mai-grea-iarna-din-bucuresti-marele-viscol-din-1954-galerie-foto_12476.htmlAdrian
