You and your son have some real keepers there--and new equipment now. I hope to see more photos from you in the (near) future!

Those cabs look great. I tried to find anyone to give me lessons and came back empty-handed. Congrats on the great work, and the great find. I got the same combo machine you have there back in january and love it, especially with a diamond wheel in plane of the silicon carbide Good luck cabbing, show us loss of pics!

so, since you have first hand experience with the inland flat lap how well would you say it worked?.....did it seem toyish or like a serious piece of equipment?......Those are nice cabs !!.........

You and your boy must have finished top of the class. Those cabs are fantastic and what a great deal on that equipment. I have an alll stainless steel Kingsley North diamond cab machine and love the fact of no rust problems in the future. Your all aluminum machines look as if they will last forever as well. I wish I had a rock club near me I would definately take all of the courses they offer. Stu

thanks so much for all the kind words!. I am anxious to see where this all goes from here but its fun to learn and it seems cabbing gives a little more of an instant gratification over tumbling. Of course the tumblers will always be rolling but this gives us something to fill some down time between changing out barrels. Right now our only slow down is finding rocks worthy of cabbing but should be up and running soon.
