Cleaned up the slab bucket last night, got some good ones and some so so ones. first table Amethyst Sage, not as nice as I had hoped as this was a very large piece but has lots of voids and softer sections Noreena, I really like this stuff A slice of Graveyard I found in the bottom of the saw and some small pieces of Noreena that I cut in the little 10" saw Gem Chrysacolla, this stuff is way cool! Table 2 Autumn jasper (they changed the name again this year and I can't remember what they are calling it this year) Apache Chrysacolla varriegated tigerseye Davis Creek rainbow, you really can't see it in the first pic so I took a couple more down below Thanks for lookin..............Tony

Tony, You sure have been busy since getting back from Quartzsite. Nice batch of slabs. Is the Autumn Jasper the stuff their calling Sonoran dendritic jasper this year? If not, look similar. Robert

Hey Robert, it is Sonoran Dendritic, that is the name I couldn't remember.
Hey Krystee, they are all for sale, pm me if you want some. It has pockets of chalcedony in it, it has solid parts and not so solid parts.
Thanks everyone............Tony

Autumn Jasper, at least the stuff I have is from Africa ....Mel I bought some from one of the mexican dealers a few years ago and then they were calling it autumn jasper, they sold zll of it to another dealer in Quartzsite and he changed the name to Sonoran Dendritic and raised the price, this year I went to get some more from the mexican dealer and they only had a few pieces and told me the name had changed to sonoran dendritic, maybe it was because that name was already taken? Cool slabs Tony! What's the story on the apache chrysocolla?
Nate
I looked up the apache chrysocolla. Sounds like neat stuff. Is it soft?

Tony Nice slabs the Gem Chrysacolla looks very nice. The Autumn jasper looks a little like the Mimbres Apache Dendritic Rhyolite.

Tony: yeah, that's the problem with trade names. I think there is also an Aussie jasper being sold as autumn jasper. Got my Autumn Jasper from Kim ( rockyraccoon) when she imported all that African stuff a few years ago....Mel

I always know I am in for a treat when you are emptying a slab bucket! That Amy sage may be pitty but it looks like large slabs so the good areas will be making some great cabs! You sure have some beautiful materials here! Fran
