with the shiller I would guess larvikite.

It is a feldspathic rock,looks to be quartz and a mica there too, finer grained than the larvikite ive seen. not jade.

Another opinion ...
Looks like labradorite in anthorosite base rock.
Any chance it's from Stephenville, Newfoundland? The Indian Head Mine quarried a low grade labradorite (light to medium blue irredescence lacks the depth of material from Nain, Labrador) in 1942.

Jade comes in a lot of different colors and I have some green jade that has the same black inclusions as your piece when held up to the light. Do you have the means to do an SG test? Not conclusive but may narrow it down. Jim
