Received a couple of geodes this week from Dave at dbrealityrocks and finally was able to get over to the barn today and cut them open to see what they held. Absolutely beautiful, both of them! Very different, but beautiful! Looking across to our home mountains, the Catskills, on our way to the barn from the Minnewaska area of the Shawangunk Ridge. The brown geode The gray geode Dave, thank you so much! We had a great time with these and what a surprise to see how beautiful they are inside! :-) Cathy

The gray one looks like a good one to smooth the outside and wire wrap.

It is a great stone! You do realize that this means that I will actually have to learn to do the wrapping along with everything else I'm having to learn how to do with this stuff, LOL! I guess it's time to hit the book! :-)

Yeah, I told Dave it was like being a kid on Christmas morning looking their stocking and not knowing what was inside. I knew it would be good, but had no idea! Cathy
