After a week of not having anything running on the 3-1.5 I beat the snot out of some of Paul's material. Got about 5 pounds broken up and am finally running all 6 tumblers again. Got a bunch of cut scraps in the 12 pounder still, maybe 2 or 3 weeks to go on that, a batch of Brazilians in the 3 pound, and 3 of the 1.5 pounders running Paul's. The lot o is chugging away on a mixed batch in 600 grit. Nothing to do for 3 days now. Guess it's time to cab! But first, some home made chili then a nap! ;D

You have six tumblers? Very cool! Beautiful day up there. What was the temp? Over the weekend, it was hovering around 90 down here in SoCal. Weird weather ...

I may need to do that... I've been waiting for the club to get their new sawblade so I can cut Paul's material, and then preform before I tumble. I'd like to have shaped cabs rather than rough shapes out of the tumbler I think... mostly because if they had flat backs at least, it would be easier to make something with them than something round all over.
Still, I want to see what yours comes out like:).

Post chili: Well, four. But one is a three barrel so I can run a total of six batches at once. It was 27 at that time. Just beautiful with the sun. My house faces south, so I was able to open a couple windows and let the fresh air in. Can't wait for summer, but it's a ways off yet. We are within inches of setting an all time record for most snow fall in one season. I've cut some, a couple pieces of Yermo, a piece of Lavic and a piece of the purple/black Gem Hill. I'm almost done with this piece from Gem Hill. It needs calibrated and polished, but looks good so far!

Hey Paul, if you're ever curious about the weather in my neck of the woods, you can always log in to my weather webcam @ www.wunderground.com/webcams/weksos/1/show.html I'm working on getting my complete weather station hooked up to the weather underground. This is my little set up:
