Greetings from Phoenix! The slab of this fire obsidian only had a thin red stripe down its edge. When I glued the 2 pieces together I combined the 2 striped edges. Hence, I got fairly good broad red stripe down the middle The 2 black outer edges of this heart was actually in the middle of the slab. I sliced through the center of that and glued it so they would be opposing It worked out well and lavender smear was just a bonus The solid lime stone is some sort of marble form Carrara Italy That area is famous for its marble. I got this really fine chunk from a rock sculpture dude who works in Phoenix. When He gave it to me and told me what it was; I remarked that it looked like my serpentine I posses. ( At least I think my material is serpentine?) I combined those 2 pieces to show this sculptor the contrast. I think it came out good. and perhaps a little early for St Patrick Day Thanks! Your rock pal (& all around good dude) Ed mostly

They came good indeed. My favorite is the green one. Nice pattern on the obsidian also, with that red stripe in the center.

Very nice hearts Ed. You do a great job with them. Is that obsidian set in silver?

Hey, all around good dude! You are good. I especially like the Carrara, and I can see Michaelanglo's influence at work. That fire heart is cool too. T
