Just an update on this batch ... here is the last link: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=tottumb&action=display&thread=51446I let this go for 4 days in 500 ao and do not know whether this is going to come out as well as I want it to. Most of the pieces have very smooth matte finishes. I did a good burnish and have started final polish. If I try to find perfection and know that I will not just yet, I will not be able to move along with all my other goodies here. So I have done the following: Good 4 hour burnish Pulled 3-4 pieces of carnelian/fire agate that I just tossed in there at one point (Thank You Jo). Added the river rock that are as smooth as a baby's butt just to see how it comes out. Most of this batch are cabs and pieces that if the pieces don't do well (from the whole process), I can always add them to later batches off 120/220. I think I may have a decent batch here. But will not know for another 4 days. I am trying to work through this process (having changed gears (Thank You Krystee)) and hopefully it will be a somewhat agreeable batch. I will only check and spritz if needed. As Always and Enjoy!
