I think it's cripple creek. I made a sphere out of that stuff, one of my favorites.

Don't mean to show my ignorance, but where is cripple creek - state? This has an odd blue green color in the upper part that maybe doesnt show as good as it is in real life. thanks

a little info
Cripple Creek Picture Jasper from "The Owyhees", Idaho. The Cripple Creek Picture Jasper mine is located in the Owyhee Mountains of SW Idaho near the Oregon border.

The color and texture is similar to the turk found in the mines of Cripple Creek , Colorado at 9000 ft elevarion. Named Cripple creek because as the founder of the town found goldon the creek that one of his cows had triped and broke its leg . The mines produced lots of gold and there are two fine producing turqoise mines and the town is now a gambling center . Also still has a large producing gold mine.

There are several similar materials from same general area. If it seems a little porous it could be Disaster Peak. The stuff I have is not as glassy as some similar looking materials

My guess would be Wild Horse Jasper because of the lighter blues and the variations in the blue.
