I found this while fossil collecting in a central Texas creek down the street from my house. I've never really seen anything like it..The pictures arnt great so I might post some better ones tomorrow. Any ideas what it is? Fossilized tooth of some sort? Coral? :help: imgur.com/a/uiIop#0

I'm going to take a stab at it..........Looks to be some type of corral to me or a piece of old mammoth tooth...........Either way, that's a cool find.

I found a mammoth molar down around Sonora and that looks VERY similar to the outside of it. I would guess maybe a part of a tooth. My humble opinion Sheri
