Hi Guys ! I did some rock business with Clint. Needless to say it was a fine transaction. Ya see I needed some Mohave Turquoise to woo a uptown girl The woman is a dear long time e-nail pal who resides in New York We talked by phone for the first time Easter We were joking how she’s the uptown girl I’m downtown boy In many ways that’s the truth. But I told he I ‘d craft her a sidewalk stopper heart But back to stoneview! The man sent me the ordered rocks fantastically timely. Plus he included a bonus! A fabulous slab of Willow Creek Jasper. I was blown away!!! Clint said it would make a great heart. It will. A couple. But for my initial project I only needed a little piece. I had little piece of Morrisonite purchased in Tucson a couple years ago. I wondered what would happen if I married these 2 classic jaspers together? This heart is not done. I posted it now-- because it may end up in divorce! And I wanted the board to see the wedded jasps. Why it may end up in divorce is because I have try to drill a hole. I got my groove off! Darn. So I can’t set a bale. Well the drilling may break a heart. Especially mine!! :nono: Thanks for attending the wedding stay tuned to see if it lasts Ed

Wow Ed these are fantastic, especially the first. If I showed that to my uptown girl I'd have no choice but to give it up to her. Keep up the great work!

I refer to my marriage as igneous. Formed by heat and pressure. That mojave stone is pretty cool hope it survives.

Ed, I had no doubt St. Edmo was the man for the job. You got the two halves of a whole to settle on an agreement and live happily in wedded bliss.

The Mojave turquoise is wonderful rock to work. The material is pliable. It works really fine and will always shine I probably could have carved the heart from 1 solid piece & easily drilled the hole for the bale. Next one I make I’ll try that.
Thanks Agrin Everyone!

They are great, Ed. That turq. is just the right stone for a heart. Exceptional. And the marriage..well opposites attract, and when they've been together long enough you can set a diamond in the middle T
