I cut these over the last four to six weeks. First up - When I was slabbing the rough, the potential came out for a set of seven. Next - Since the response to the other pieces that included native silver were so popular, I decided to do another one. This one uses Andamooka Opal. Finally - I just couldn't believe this didn't break. Especially after it popped off the dop. It's Kyanite from Pakistan. When I tried to cut it before stabilizing, the directional hardness was somewhat problematic. The overall length is almost 3". It's certainly the thinnest, longest cab I've cut. there is much more blue and green than the pictures show. Thanks for looking. Take care.

Nice job! I love the silver intarsia, but the seeds it took to cut that last one makes it my favorite. Plus it has great movement in the pattern, amplified by the shape. T

That intarsia is just to cool! Inspires me to try my hand at doing one.

All attractive, but the first one is outstanding.

Wow, all of those are great. I love the set of Sonoras but I'd have to say the Kyanite is my favorite. I'll bet the colors in that one are even more spectacular in person.
