Just thought I would let you all know I had a spine stimulator trial put in my back yesterday for the chronic pain, so far it seems to be working fine just sore from the surgery itself. I can not lift more than 5 pounds or bend or twist until they put the permanant one in. I hope it continues to work because I hate taking pain pills I only take them when I can't stand it anymore. Bites because I have a tumbler that needs to be recharged and can not do it gonna see if my daughter can help me do that. maybe I will get some more wraps done now.

Sorry to hear of your problem but hopefully you are on you way to recovery. Backs are not my specialty but take care not to over do it at 1st. You'll have plenty of time for rocks in the future. Your back/ chronic pain issues are foremost right now. I will say I have seen some good results in some people with spine stimulators. Hopefully that will be you! Heres to a speedy recovery! Bill

Best of luck with that. I'm a whiney cry baby with my normal old age aches and pains. I couldn't imagine dealing with a real problem.

Thanks everyone... so far it has taken care of alot of the pain but I still have problems walking, I am stiff and sore but I always keep a positive attitude and try and stay strong through everything. I just keep in my mind that there is people with worse problems than mine. I make the best of my day and go from there.

Tammy I feel for you. As a person with inoperable chronic degenerative disk disease I know what it is like. I have been on pain management for almost 10 years now.. heavy duty pain meds 3x a day. I am talking morphine. I wish I could get a stimulator. I actually found i was able to reduce my level of pain through meditation. i know it works because I have reduxed my consumption of meds by about 30% a month. Wishing you a fast recovery. Stu
