Last month unclestu had asked me about one of my "dudewraps", if it was for sale. It was, and he purchased it. He had also asked if I had a slab of that Noreena laying around. I sent one of those as a gift along with the wrap that he purchased from me. A short time later, he sent me a gift package of the most incredible Graveyard Point plume agates that I had ever seen, absolutely beautiful stuff!! Anyhow, check out this cab that I did from his material the other day, this stuff is too cool!! All of the plumes are layered in gold (pyrite??)

Oh Randy you made my day. I sent out some gift boxes to a few people and you were the only one to do anything with it, and what a job you did. I originally purchased an entire lot of about 30 slabs. I was told that it was old stock with golden marcasite plumes. I did one cab and it came out great as did yours. I sold a few slabs just enough to cover the cost of the purchasse as my intention was to share the rest with you my friends on the forum. So Bud there is some more where that came from LOL Maybe some of the others will be motivated to play with theirs now that they saw how fantastic yours came out. Stu

OH OH OH!!!!! Such a BEAUTY!!!!!! I too received some AWESOME pieces from Uncle Stu! I would say to "Die For" but that doesn't seem appropriate for "Graveyard" Point Plume An A+ Uncle Stu slab is on my work bench now. Next project after son's graduation in a couple of weeks and visiting with out of state family that is flying in for graduation, SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!

I bought one of those slabs & it is in my waiting for time to cut box of preforms, traced out along with some other goodies. It won't be today though, as it looks to be a rainy day for me. Randy that is a beautiful cab, I am waiting to see how you wrap it!

Very nice Randy. I like the plume as well, but it sure can be challenging to cut.

i see marcasite listed as dangerous because it turns into sulfuric acid Yep.... I also cut tigereye (asbestos), cinnabar (mercury agate), chrysocolla and malachite (copper), and probably some uranium here and there. Hmmmm, what was the question? ;D
