When I got home from work today, my wife said "come look at what I found". On the table out on the patio was a purchased in Jan. 1994, [have the paperwork] never used, UV-18 [rock model]. Ma hit a few sales in the A.M., said the lady wanted $25 for it, and three recepticles and two cords later it wouldn't run, got it for $5. She plugged it in at home, hit the switch, and it runs just fine. This is our first vibe, so now we have to learn to run it. Thanks ma. ;D

Congrats!
Yep, as John said, load up on rock. I was running a 50 lb.+ rotary for rough grind to keep my UV-18 fed.

Whoa that is awesome!! If you need a 50+ pound rotary I know a guy Keep in mind you can fill up the volume with ceramic media as well - I did that on my UV10 until I had enough rock to feed it.

Thanks for the suggestions, happens we have a 50lb. rotary we have been running for about 12 yrs. Looks like we will likely keep it running.
