ok i started a post awile back about a highpoints 9mm,, what ever you do never buy there 9mm i dont know about any of there other guns,, but after the first couple mags it wont shoot a full mag without ftf after 3 or 4 rounds,, fed up so i ordered a sig 9mm 20229b -- MAN what a diff haha i just ran a box of the cheepest rounds i had (tul ammo) from russia and not a prob in 50 rounds -- i tried 3 or 4 diff brands in the highpoint and nothing worked right -- this sig comes with a swichable hand grip the one on it was larger then the extra one in the box so i shot with the bigger one ill try the smaller one next time but it feels better in my hand since i switched it no safety on it but it has a hammer decocker so you can leave one in the pipe and ten in the mag,, it has single and double trigger pull so just draw and fire after the first round it slips to single pull (alot smoother) -- they do offer a 15 round mag will get that later i cant believe how comfortable it shoots when i shot the highpoints 9 it hurt my hand around my thumb after just a few shots -- the sig is a pleasure to shoot i did in a 50 round box and no pain at all -- i forgot $400.00 even out the door that was shipping and trace on me included

i gotta say the Sig was double the price of the highpoints but still on the lower end of most name brand guns usually everything i liked was at-least 500 and above -- i wanted a Beretta 9 but i cheeped out at the last minute haha -- I'm really happy with it just for the fact it shoots every time and it don't hurt haha i had a torn rota-tor cuff and stretched or tore the nerves in my right arm so it don't take much to mess with it i cant wait to get back to the range (prob tomorrow haha) to get it broken in some more after just a box the trigger felt alittle smoother on the double pull -- and it comes apart so easy to clean just one pin you can push with your finger almost as easy as my Beretta 380

Man, you are going to love that piece. I'm a big fan of Sigarms, though I prefer 45's or 40's. My Sig 1911 45 is my favorite baby as I'm a single action fan. I figure with the Highpoints you get what you pay for, which is not much, and man is that one heavy, awkward, butt ugly piece too. Funny thing is, if your into double actions, for a bit more you can get into Beretta Storms, Taurus or Springfields too all of which are pretty freaking awesome semi auto handguns. Sigs though, are top of the line in my book. Problem I've encountered with a lot of cheap European 9mm ammo is freaking hard primers. This can cause a lot of FTFs with some guns that have a light firing pin strike. Switched to something like the Federal 9mm used by Navy Seals and no problems at all. You get what you pay for with ammo too....Mel

my buddy had a 40 and i liked it alot dont remember the make but it felt right and shot without alot of kick -- i went with the 9mm cause i can get a box of shells for right around 10 bucks for ball ammo for plinking so i can shoot when ever i want and it dont hurt that much haha -- ill pick up a couple boxs of hollow points +p for zombies haha -- this sig is a little heavy but i think a little lighter then the highpoint -- when i was at the range right after i picked it up today i was alone and couldnt help talkin to myself about how nice it acted haha-- i would recomend this sig to anybody i like it

Sig 9mm and a Glock 9mm were the first pistols that I ever fired. They are some sweet firearms, however, I will never go back after the 1911 .45 ACP!
Nice Sig Sauer John!

I just bought a Cobra Deringer .38. That little bugger about cracks my wrist in half! I bought it for Mrs. BAZ but she can hardly pull the trigger as it, of course, is designed for a hard pull. She can pull it with her middle finger, but that isn't safe!

I'm a wheel gun guy myself, 6" Ruger GP100 stainless is my favorite. Since my son joined the Army and will be shipping out to boot camp in Nov I took him to the range and we tried out a Beretta M9. I must say I was impressed, then we tried a Glock 9mm and all it did was beat up my hand. I do want to try a S&W Sigma as well. BAZ, I fired one of those .410 double derringers once, won't do it again.
