ok hers the pic of the horn coral...its dimensions are 2.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide...this piece is on the small side of what i got at the site in the past..i have taken pieces 2 or three times its size in the past(cant show you those as i gave them to kids on our mineral club..i dont know how to put up more then 1 image at a time sorry bout that...Dave i can get more from the site... Nice little piece,but you would be better off trying to sell locally.It would cost more postage than what the coral is worth..........Sorry...

Those are some sweet fossils. Must be a bunch of them there. I can find the devils toe nails that easy but the rest are pretty hard to come by. Jim

Fossils like Dave's are easy to find around me too. Even though they're easy to find, they sure are cool. Those shells are perfectly preserved.

I do not know what the thing inside the shell looked like, I suppose something like a snail. the shell is shaped like the horned coral if you smashed down the fat end so it is almost flat and the small end curled down almost like a claw. I will try to get a photo up this evening. Jim

Here is the devils toe nail. I had given all of them away but found this small broken one in a box of coral. The flared end is broken off of a lot of them from a lot of different things like cows stepping on them. I do not have a clue what the real name is. Jim

i think the devils toenails are some kind of nataulis or such ...not far from where i got the other fossils there are nautalis (sp) also...
