and ..... OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am doing a barrel check now and if the rest of the batch is how the first two pieces I pulled and dried, I am so going to faint.
They have awesome shine and if the entire batch is like this, I will put into final polish again for another 7-10 days.
Stay tuned ... in about an hour, I may have the pictures.

Even if it isn't perfect, they came out close to smokin hot!!
If I did put them in another round of 7-10 days, they would be perfect. I'm wiggling in my seat here drying each piece off before I take Pictures.
The Snowflake is a bit persnickety anyway, but they came out nice.

Beg pardon, but where can one find the photos of this project? As miners of wonderful obsidian, we love to look at well finished obsidian. We also appreciate any tips that we can pass to our customers.
Many thanks! Kris Hand-2-Mouth Mining

Hey there Kris!!! Here is the link from the post I made on the final outcome. As with all my batches (I was taught early on to make it easy for others to find previous stages). This link will give you all links to previous barrel checks and input. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=trtphoto&action=display&thread=53706I cannot take full credit for those as my RTHers have taught me, trained me, given me the much needed support, and tips and tricks to do the various batches. The only tips I can give are to give credit to those that have helped me along. TNT, NatureNut, and all my sweeties here. As always ....

I admire you for sticking it out through thick and thin! Some of the challenges we meet in tumbling can be disheartening at times but I think in knowing someone has done it successfully makes us push on and meet the challenge at hand!
The help and support we all get on this board also helps us to keep our noses to the grind stone and when we fail at something there's ALWAYS someone there to pick us up and lead us in the right direction gain!
GREAT job on the obsidian and now the sky's the limit!
