Here is a cab that I really like the way it turned out. I got this piece of Montana Agate from my local Rock Club Auction. Pretty cool rock though. It looks kinda like a Whiskey Bottle. Hemitite and Tiger Iron Unknown Another Unknown Graveyard Point Plume Agate Thanks for looking, Tammy

Nice material!
That first unknown might be rhodonite if it's heavy for it's size. Another test that's helpful but not always consistent is to see if it sticks to a magnet or if, when balanced gently, a passing magnet tugs it. My stock is milk of magnesia pink when polished - some of it clacks to a magnet and some of it barely responds (use a very strong magnet if you try).
Also I love that Montana - beautiful stuff!
Thanks for sharing!

Great cuts and material! ;D The whiskey bottle is really cool! I agree, the one looks like rhodonite.

Do you have any idea where the white with the red stripe came from. It looks a lot like some of the pink and white agate that I find here. Here is a pic. I have a lot of this stone that the white is really white unlike this piece Beautiful cabs. I like the shapes. Jim

nice looking cabs, was your pink unknown rock soft like a 3-4 (Moh) or hard like agate?

Wampidy The white with red stripe is actually light green with red. I will try to take a better photo today.
Chuck The pink unknown is hard like Jasper or Agate.
Thank you everyone for your comments. Tammy

Can't say I have a favorite since I really like them all. Each cab is is special in its own way. All quite different.
