Howdy folks, Got back from riding this morning and remembered I had a batch of tumbles ready to take out. Had screwed up and left out the smalls so I left them extra long in polish and they came out real shiny. Super mixed batch this time. Finished up all my slab pieces and small end cuts I had including a bunch from Woodward biscuits I had put in plaster in a milk carton to cut. Also Mozarkite, Texas pet wood, crazy lace and just about every oddball hunk I had laying around. Mixed batches are pretty fun. Anyway, here's a pic of the whole lot and I'll take some closer shots after I sort them out....Mel

Looking good Mel. That batch should please every kid that comes along. Quite an assortment and great shine. Jim

That's a swell batch Mel. That red one on the lower right is worth the price of admission all by itself. Great shine!

Yeah I like the red one too. It's a Condor Agate end cap off a nodule I slabbed awhile ago. I think that one was from the first time Condor Agate showed up at Quartzite many years ago. When I saw that stuff for the first time I dropped pretty much my whole rock allowance on it that trip. Spent hours at the table going through rough nodules. I think they were like $10 per pound which was a whole lot of money way back then *L*

Beautiful set, Mel. There's a purple one at the top center ... what is that? Amethyst? Something else? Paul
