I was running a load and a bike trip came up. It still had several days to go before I was going to change out. The trip was for 3 days so I left it running and thought nothing more about it. That very day, a storm rolled trough and there was a power outage. It came back on but, motor was not strong enuf to get it turning again with out a little help. So it sat for 3 days running but not turning. The motor got hot but not much more than usual. I know there is no fix to get barrel turning again after it stops, aside from a little assist. But how long can you leave mix standing? I got it running again and it had not set up. But I ran it and a few days, and later when I checked it the mix had turned to a frothy foam.

As long as it didn't solidify you should be OK. You usually only see foam during first few days. If the slurry seems too watery it would be a good time to pour out a little liquid and/or add a little more grit.
