Got the camera charged back up and still have the light so here's another I cut today. Cut this one for my type collection, Spider Web Jasper ( actually a rhyolite) from near Heppner, Oregon. Hard to get a piece this size, 32 X 42mm, without a ton of flaws. This one is clean except for a couple small pits along one edge. Thanks for looking....Mel ![](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b377/sabre52/DSCN7020.jpg)

Mel, that's cool! There's almost a corpuselly look to it...or like brains! Very biological. I really like it!!! :-)

Roy; I got this material and some rose eye jasper, which appears to be a related material, from the same guy at Quartzite. From what I've seen the Opal Butte rhyolte seems very similar but I don't know anything about the claim this came from except he said in was in the Heppner area....Mel

gr: Yep is a rhyolite but very high in silica. Takes a mirror polish which I'm not used to seeing in a rhyoite type material....Mel
