You got some real beauties in there. Just a tad out of focus on some. Practice practice.

Tammy, Try a tripod for your camara and use the timmer. That should help get you closer to the pics you want. Good stones! Keep after it!

I shouldn't admit it, but I love Vienna sausages in a can. Nice batch of polished rock too.

The vienna sausages are a mix of jasper, agates, wood and others. Sounds like a trip to an oral surgeon. lol Seriously I think you have done well as the stones look great.

Nice batch! Vienna sausage! My grandfather had a store and the earliest recollection there was him carrying me and feeding me vienna sausage. 60 years ago. snuffy

Hmmm, now I want to try Vienna Sausages! Tammy, I agree that a tripod is an excellent idea. If your camera has a macro for close up, that will help, too. If you don't have a tripod, you can measure a piece of ordinary string that is about as tall as you are. Tie one end around a big metal washer, or something that you can step on to hold it (nail, whatever). Tie the other end around some part of your camera. There might be a screw hole in the bottom of the camera. You can tie it around a screw in that hole. Keep your elbows on your sides, pull the camera up to the height you need it, and click! Here is a You Tube video of what I am talking about. Easy Image Stabilizer For Any Camera - Photography Trick
I use the string method a lot when outside. Your rocks are looking good!
