Was wandering. Many ppl use different types of glue. I am wanting to make jewelry using the post you insert into a drilled hole. What type glue is the best for this purpose?

My wife is partial to "G S Hypo Cement". Mostly she likes the little needle applicator in the cap. E-6000 is pretty popular too.

I use good old 5-Minute Epoxy. Mix well and use a toothpick to poke glue into the drilled hole. If you need more time, use good old 30-Minute Epoxy.
Hint - Make sure the drilled hole is completely dry before gluing. I had a few embarasing failures due to this. I dry my pendants in the oven (Low - 225 degrees) for 20 mintes before gluing.

I've been using 330 epoxy for a long time, never any failures with it.

330 is probably the strongest jewelry glue available. A lot of people don't want to mix it though. Especially for a drop here or there.

Just as important as the glue is cleaning it well first. I use acetone to clean and epoxy 330 for glue. It dries water clear and works great.
