those might wrap well
also face drill for a pinch bail.
a few have such good pattern that I would consider refining them on your new Genie.

Some of those look like they took a leopard's coat for inspiration. Great looking slabs John. I agree with Daniel. They look worthy of an upgrade to cabs.

Those look great John. I just started 6 lbs of hammer broken Montana's but I think the tumbled slabs are the better way to go.

Tourists love the Montana pendants and earrings. Make a bunch of them then start matching them up for ear rings. You can buy the glue on posts and bails or you can drill for wires. Jim

Beauties all! I hunt my own Montanas and I find many more clear agates than colored, so I cab everything with good dendrites/color.

John, Great job on the slabs. I put some of mine in Ricker boxes for display - gave a bunch away and drilled holes in a couple. The rest I keep in a box for show and tell. Steve

Kris, I bought part of an old collection. I've never been to Montana. Lame. I know. Nah, John, not lame, just youthful! I was fortunate enough to travel the country in my misspent youth. The Great Frozen North of our fair Nation was a favorite part of the journey, with amazing vistas, incredible folks, and lots of rocks to look at and covet. There's plenty of time for you to get out there, and you'll need it to save up enough bucks for the gas bill! Seriously, I pine for the mountains of Montana! (Yeah, I know, cheap joke! :cheesy: ) The Yellowstone River calls to me, with the thunder of rushing flood waters and "Thunk!" of rolling boulders bouncing in the roiling waters. Gotta love river bottom collecting! Good collecting, John! Kris
