This looks like some type of moss agate. Hard to tell from the pics.

I will post better pictures tomorrow. I didn't realize my camera was taking such low pixel images until it was too late. Thanks.

Probably a type of agate. But the first pic slightly resembles fossil coral, or possibly even fossil cycad.

I know exactly what it is, but you're going to have to send me a couple almond kringles before I'll tell you! LOL www.kringle.com/

Forget the rock! this thread is now about kringle! I prefer the traditional almond filling, but sometimes I like to mix it up with apricot. I haven't had OhDanish kringles, how do they compare to Rancines? I make my own every christmas, but the're more bready and less pastry.

They are essentially the same! And both right here in Racine.

Ah, good to know. Dang, now I'm hungry for Kringle! Too bad I'm in utah; guess I'll have to settle for some green jello salad. ;(
The rock looks like a chert or jasper nodule. I don't see anything fossil in it. It should cut and polish well, but I'm not sure if the material merits the effort.

Thanks Don. I thought Chert maybe as it is in abundance. Not sure what to do with it now. LOL

It does look like chert and I would expect the vugs to go all the way through. One cut would confirm, but that's been my experience with similar rocks.
