I have wonderstone and lizard stone tumbling separately from pet wood and lake superior agates. The pet wood is going to take forever to get enough to fill a 12-lb barrel for the next stage. But the softer wonderstone/lizard stone may have enough for stage 2 within a few weeks. Here are pics of some rough first: A few of the softer batch ready to go in 220 (includes a few scraps of lapis and malachite (and a nice chunk of pyrite from tandl): And the hard stuff: Will update with new pics as a batch comes out of 220. All pics are dry - you all have to wait to see the shine...

Those agates will turn out great for sure. Hope you get a good shine on the wonderstone as well.

I need to enhance my pic taking skills. The two upper-middle rocks in pic 6 are purple jadeite from Turkey that I mixed in with the pet wood. Can't see a whit of the color in my poor shots...

You're gonna have some beauties on your hands before long. Those aggies in the last picture look very promising!

I think what everyone is trying to say is good luck with the Wonderstone. It can be difficult to get a good polish on a cab machine even. Some is really porous to the point it looks more like a sandstone.

The wonderstone seems to be very solid. The lizard stone seems to have a few soft spots but isn't too bad over all - but we'll see.
The pet wood is giving me more problems than anything else. I get rid of one pit or crack, and another opens up. Patience...

Some of the RV park rock clubs in AZ won't let their members cut AZ wood. The ones that do make the guy stand by the saw. The stuff is beautiful but known for fractures that can cause it to break up in the vise while cutting. Not surprising fractures would appear while tumbling. I guess first step would be to break any at the visible fractures before starting.
