Was inspired by a plaid shirt my wife was wearing today and dug out this nice muted Mexican crazy lace. Just a little 18x13. Decided to try out a slice of that breccia I found this week. The fracture is not that apparent in person.

Both came out nice, Geoff. I'd say you invested your 10 minutes well!

Nicely done cabs. The mexican lace is especially cool.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I spent more than 5 minutes lol. Just remembered someones words from a while back. I use a template to get down to the right shape, just a bit oversized. I then do the cabbing on my flat lap. Once it's polished up I go back to the 180 grit disc and take a little off here and there to get them into the bezel setting. Most of the time I super glue them in, some times the test fit is too tight to get them back out so I just clamp them in as is. I get all my pendant bezel cups from Fire Mountain. Here's a couple more from today. This one is from the same piece of Mexican crazy lace. This one is some sort of Mexican nodule I completely ruined the final sizing of.
