I bought a 15# sack of obsidian from Hand to Mouth so I could try my hand at tumbling this cantankerous material. I cut it up and ran batches till I had enough mixed sizes to load two 3# barrels. This is the whole pile: Nice sheen visible on some of them: This is the silver obsidian, no sheen but nice patterns: I'm hoping I have the discipline to post at each stage. Thanks for peeking. Carlos

Good luck. It looks like you have some nice stuff to start with. Are these going to be finished completely in rotaries?

Looks good so far, Carlos. I've got three barrels of this same material running right now. Good luck! Paul
