that black agate is a beauty. I'm always impressed how similar your mossy agates look like the stuff here in so utah.

Not sure where this is from: All done, thanks for looking. Looks like the stuff I have in my shed !! Theif !!!... but seriously if you find out what it is... I have a ton of stuff just like it, let me know too !!! I know its agate... kinda like the Montana agates I have. but your pictures are way better than mine are!! I'll have to get more pics.. I have slabs that look like they came from the same material too!!

The blue and black fortification agate was picked up in Zapata June. This is the rock. I was lucky that I started cutting perpendicular to the fortifications right off the bat and was able to make the most of the pattern. I cut off several slabs and squirreled away the rest of the rock for lean times.
