Love seeing all the variety in the aventurine. Are those from therockshed.com? John, these came from the old gentleman whose supply I bought out.He had them probably 30 or 40 years.I may put some up for sale later if there is interest, got much sorting out to do before I do. snuffy

love the greens Snuffy!!!
If any go on the box, set a box of greens on the side for me... I have been slicing and getting a batch of green slabs ready for a friend that is bananas for green anything!! so I am giving him first pic of my green slabs and later I will try to make him something to wear... he's into that whole role playing thing... renaissance fairs and what not.. may try selling my magic amulets there when I get better at making them.

Really like all the green. My favorite is the big boy that's blue with the red running through it.

WOW Snuffy! The color and shine are just..... YUM!!!!!! I don't remember if I've asked this before and if I did it was a long time ago but..... what do you do with the insane amount of batches you so effortlessly finish on a weekly basis? Do you sell them in your shop, give them away, use them for projects or do you just have a house full of rocks?
I have a friend that did a bathroom remodel and her and her husband collected beach rocks and did a decorative border in their shower and bathroom. It is soooooo beautiful but I always look at it thinking how much better it would look if the rocks they chose were tumbled to a glossy finish....

Krystee, I sell some of the smaller polished slabbettes at the rock shop along with the large slabs.I've accumulated a good supply of polished stones for when I'm fully retired to do projects I have in mind, table tops, etc. When I get ready to do a project, wont have to wait on some to tumble before I can finish it. Thats my plan, anyway. If not,the grandkids can run their fingers through them! snuffy

I try to tumble rocks that will be colorful. After waiting all that time for a tumble to go thru all of the stages working with a rotary, the colors of the polished batch are an added bonus. Good eye candy. Thx for sharing.
