Cool small ones! Love the Montana! It has great patterning! Chrysocola always gives me fits with the onion skinning it can do but yours turned out great! Fran

I started a silversmithing class yesterday, and I have WAY too many big cabs from the past year of doing vibe'd preforms, so I am trying to ante up with some more smaller cabs for jewelry.
I need to take a better pic of the chrysocolla, it is really pretty, but I do like the montana as well.

If you are doing silversmithing try to make some smaller ovals, they are the easiest to work with and get scalloped bezel material, that is the most forgiving, and make some hard stones to start, once you go pushing on them and you take the bezel pusher across the stones a few times, you will be glad

Boy John, those are looking great! The Montana is my fav as well. Your not wasting anytime diving into all aspects of this crazy hobby. Eventually I want to try silversmithing as well. I have lots of cabs and nothing to do with them but give them away. Thanks for sharing! steve
