Looks like a great time rockhounding......Taking the grandkids too,is a plus! Hey you ever want to hunt the Glendive area,I have maps for some easy areas to get to(close to the roads),usually find agates and fossils.......

Great Variety of Rocks. Love that little vein of agate in the one piece. I am excited to have a Grandkid or two. It will be fun to take the little ones out again. She's a Cutie! steve

@ Roger we do get some that look like fairburns but they are the yellow/white colors not as colorful as in south dakota, although I did find one up by williston that what brownish red. according to some online site there is supposed to be fairburns on the south west side of the state and lake superiors on the east side of the state you can also find petrified pine cones along the cannonball river. I haven't gone there yet.

She is very active and cute, yes she did help pick up rocks but every rock she seen was going into the bag. LOL
