Agates poured in sandless tile grout and sawn in 3-5 mm thick slabs,then tumbled. Attachments:

Interesting. Do you tumble the whole grout "plate" or do you bust the rocks out then tumble?

when I've done this, I packed the rocks closer together. why did you choose to space them so much?

Yes,they are snapped out of the grout and the tumbling op removed most of the grout.
That was an early cast.Got better at closing the space.Too much fun.
