I say let some other fool pay for something that's actually worth less than half of what it will sell for on EBay. But hey, it's their money, right? As for me, a better price can be found somewhere else.

It's a beautiful piece! I'd bid on it but it would go for way more than i can afford.

This is up to $41USD with 11 hours left - maybe we should make a prediction as to how high it will get...?

Watch it end for something like $52. How much does Koroit usually sell by the pound? I can only imagine what someone like Stoner or Sands could do with 8 pounds of really nice stuff!
Or really any of the cabbers. Or even future cabbers! *sigh*

I'd just love to get my hands on it, unfortunately the shipping is what usually kills it for me - no flat rater here...
The Koroit I've seen advertised, has mostly sold by the gram - it's beautiful stuff... Damn shipping...!!

Notice his photos, he is only really showing 1/3 of the actual rough, were the good and problely only layer is on that piece. I would expect it to close around $50. If those veinlets were fire, and not just common opal, i say $150 tops for that piece. As you gonna have 80% or more in waste, or ironstone without fire. Thats how this material is most times. The real good fire Koroit can fetch upwards of $50 per pound, but i would put that piece in that class.

At 14 minutes to go, it was only at $62.50. I think someone was really disappointed at the end. Gotta love those snipers!

I was watching that rock......I'd have loved to have it but I'm not good enough at this to spend that kind of money. Maybe someday......
