last time I posted a photo of this sucka!! it was blurry ... hopefully these will be better!! 2 dry photos Wet Photos Back lit by lamp Good luck ... I call it "Peppered Bacon" because that's what the rough looks like... Only other thing I can add is that it was found near a copper deposit as it has green along the edges, probably Minnesota as that's where the original owner spent most of his time collecting, but also was to L.Sup. & Montana among others. It's definitely got a fire to it when the sun hits it!!!

It is flame agate, not sure of the location.

pics still blurry. you need more light or a tripod

it looks like a flame agate, but thinner than usual pics still blurry. you need more light or a tripod I need a better camera... my 9 yr old uses this every chance she gets to take pictures of our dogs and the focus is for sh*t!! Starts off clear then loses focus just as the picture snaps. I thought it might be flame agate... makes sense as thats the majority of what this guy collected... that and thunder eggs!! Thanx People!!!

I even have a piece of this that is actually 2 pieces together.... one is up & down and the other is L to R... the seam where they meet should be very interesting to see.... may angle cut it to try to get both edges together... anyone with thoughts on that??
