Not sure what it is, but I don't think that it's shrinkwood. It's really cool though!!

I've seen some Pet Wood that was highly Agatized and looked similar, but couldn't say for sure... looks a lot like it though.

Yeah, I'd agree with the Dad-oh. Looks like an agatized wood cast. A lot of the south Texas wood shows almost no remaining wood pattern and I've found a lot that appears like moss agate or brecciated jasper inside, complete with agate fortifications. Mat Dillon also collects a lot of what he calls George West type wood casts in the same area I collect. Would not surprise me to find similar stuff in the old Rio grande gravels.....Mel

First guess - Carey Plume agate. Second guess - Java Plume agate from Indonesia, just not cut in the best direction. Third guess - Eagle Rock plume agate. Fourth guess - None of the above and I'm full of coprolite :-) c-ya, Rick

Those orange-red woody-looking pieces do look like some Eagle Rock. I sure wish the names and origins were required to be lightly scratched onto slabs–and even more that I would put into practice what I preach (I've forgotten what are some of my own).
