I found these in the bottom of a tumbler that I bought at an estate sale. Can anybody identify them? I have about a pound of them. Thanks, Scott

Perhaps they were used as tumbling media to fill the gaps. Did you check their hardness, they are so tiny they could be a mix of agates, jasper, quartz, or else.

its difficult to tell from the photo. Could be any of the above - and you should use hardness to distinguish. Just from appearances I'd guess on chloritic quartz which you could use to bulk out concrete - but test the hardness first!

Is it from the UP do you think? If so, I'd hazard a guess that it's prehnite - right color, right size, it is collected. Are there any flecks of copper in any of it?
