I would go with Pink Lady Plume. The mine is still under claim and still being worked, I have seen some very similar from there.

Wow that's pretty and a new one to me. I would have guessed one of the types similar to regency Rose from the graveyard point area but I reckon I'da been wrong *L*....Mel

I have not been to it yet but he said it is in the Graveyard Point area, (so you would not have been wrong Mel.)

This piece came from an old collection that was donated to our club. I came across this piece as we were loading the large piles of rock. We hauled about 1/3 of the collection last Monday - about 10 tons. The collection came from an old time member of the club that had passed to rockhound heaven about 5 years ago. His son told me that his dad got most of the rocks in the mid 1960's from a rock shop that gone out of business. This hints that this piece may have been mined quite a while ago. Bob

Not sure what is is, Bobby, but it kinda looks like a conglomerate is some areas of it, with some golden moss, pretty pink plumes, and fortification. Are you planning on cabbing it? :cheesy:

It has a fracture across the piece so I doubt if it would hold together if I tried to slab it. It is about 2-1/2" thick so it would have to be slabbed before I could make a cab. I'll have to stare at it for a few days/weeks before I think about what to do with it. Most likely I will polish it and keep it as a specimen. Bob

Cut your slab parallel to the fracture, it def-o-nate-ly has a 3D pose! I love them where no matter HOW you slice it... ;D
