I have a piece of that but not sure what it is. I think the inside will look like snowflakes.

Looks like a petrified Portuguese Man of War(a really nasty jelly fish).I have seen that skin on insides of large psuedomorphs.Like a large version of the botyroidal covered finger.Gray agate in center,covered with whiskey covered coating.Bigger ones look just like a brain.
