JSGems John had one at Quartzsite on display. This is one sweet saw and is well built like all BD saws. Ultra quiet. Comes with the new 7" lapidary blade too. Hope John chimes in to explain more.

Yeah I saw it at the manufacturing facility when I picked up the BD-10. It's basically the same only . . . drum roll . . . 7"! Like Larry said, it's ultra quiet. They started it up to show me, you can't even hear the motor when there's no rock in it. Silent. Stealth Saw. My BD10, you for sure can't hear the motor even when it's being used to cut. (Which doesn't mean it's quiet though). Larry keeps telling me "listen for the motor to bog down" and I keep saying "You can't hear the motor!" The 7" is really cute. I love my 10" (but it is a combo trim/slab). The 7" has been out since I think last September.
