Hi Guys... I just finished my first belt buckle today... I'd finished the cab back in January, but just now mounted it to the buckle and new belt. I'm not sure what the stone is, but I sure think it's pretty!

Almost has an agate look to it. Very nice piece and great shine to the stone!

Beautiful. It would be interesting to see the back of the belt.

I first thought that I could see a helicopter in the reflection in the stone, but then decided it was a shoe. Whatever, it has a really good shine on it.

Wow, that's beautiful! How is that attached to the belt? I don't believe I've ever seen one not glued into a metal setting or something. That's an awesome idea! Love to try it myself sometime soon. -Mike

Thanks everyone! As requested, I took a couple of pictures of the back side of it... forgive the poor picture quality, but hopefully it communicates what I did well enough. Mike - It's epoxied to the buckle finding itself. The epoxy is extremely strong, so I think the stone would break before the bond broke. I got the finding at therockshed.com, in their jewelry findings section.

Nice! I've made buckles before, but wasn't terribly happy with the findings I had. I'll have to check out the Rock Shed.

First belt buckle, and a fine one at that! I too like it that just the cab is showing.

That looks great! For some reason, I have always thought it needs a rectangle shape to look good but this looks excellent! Fran
