OK, I am at it again. Our club sets up info booths at Earth Day & Astronomy Day events and hand out little pet rock cards with the kids selecting a pet rock from a bowl to glue onto there cards. It has been a very fun and educational way to get the kids excited about rocks & gems. Here is what I need: I need some small tumbled stones to restock the bowl. Does anyone have any that I could purchase for this? Ray

No larger than a small marble and nothing so tiny that the kids would not want. I will be gluing them to a business size card. I am trying to think of something to compare too small and all I can think of is carat size. I would say no smaller than 3 or 4 carats.

How many do you want? Any particular flavor? Do tumbled slabettes count? I've got lots--

Oh--I forgot to say--unless you want all of my tumbled rutilated quartz or a tremendous quantity, they will be free.

It doesn't matter what it is. The kids would love anything shiny. I need at least 10lbs. I would gladly swap some of my rough for some. I will give twice the weight about.

I would gladly swap 10 pounds + of my tumbles for some of your rough. Let me know if you want pictures. I have unakite, amazonite, aventurine, sunstone from India, etc & would love to find a new home for it all.

If you don't get enough, let me know too. I've got several large coffee cans full of slab trimmings of all kinds of different rocks. Was going to tumble them eventually, but you know how that goes....
