I picked this up down in Quartzsite when I was there. The vendor said he didn't know what it was. I would have bought all of it except, while I was messing around at Tyson Wells on the way to Desert Gardens, some lady came in and bought most of it. I got lucky and found two slabs burried under some other slabs. Ya snooze ya loose right? Anyone know what this is? a little better light Thanks for any help!...........g

I'd say it's fairly common, though as with many materials, I've not seen it as much as I did years ago. Australian materials seem to have quite an ebb and flow to them. A dealer will show up at a place like Quartzite and it will show up at shows quite a bit afterward and then the supplies will dry up again. One of our Aussie members may have better info on whether or not it's still being mined in quantity......Mel
