Is the 'fluorite' soft? Colors look like amethyst to me.
Like that green jasper.

Love them, esp the green. Can you tell me more about it? I have some mystery rock that looks quite similar.

I also love that unusual green color. Some of that green is found in the Skaggs deposit (which has both green with some lavender and other colors mixed in, and which people often mistakenly assume are new vistaite finds) and some is scattered around the region and gets lumped together under Ochoco Green or Ditch Jasper (from the tendency to find pieces in road cuts). Nice solid jasper with nice colors, and it does indeed look great set in gold-colored metals.

Wow, those are outstanding Ochoco Green Jasper cabs!! Lurve the color! Hi, Kevin! ;D Thanks for adding some great info on the deposits. I thought Skaggs and Ochoco green jasper were the same. Haven't ever seen any Ditch jasper.
