Would anyone be interested in doing some tradeing for materials local to their area's in the near future once i can get off my weight restictions and handle roc again ? I am i North west Arizona close to Kingman .

You don't want local Kansas rock. LOL. AZ has a lot of great rock.
Let me know what you get. Maybe I can trade some stuff I got in Oregon.

I'd love to. There's a lot of interesting jasper around here, loads of different kinds of wood, an occasional interesting agate (even though I'm close to Ellensberg) and of course, the common opal. Then there's the serpentine a bit west, and occasional jade and garnet. I've thought about seeing if there's an interest in a "locals only" traveling rock box. . .and this is a way to start!

I would be interested. I am in Bakersfield. I have lots of Rose Quartz from the Greenhorn Mountains that stars, Lavic and Cady's material, Rainbow Ledge, Last Chance Canyon just to name a few. What do you have for trade. Do you have any photos to post? I am always interested in a good trade.

I'd be more than happy to trade woith you ... I got lots of .... SAND !!! which under a microscope is really tiny rocks !! seriously though .. I have material from different places.. be more than happy to trade off some Thunder eggs or jaspers, pet wood.. let me know .. after you work your way down the list!!
Chris, I would interested in some of that rose Quartz too.. pm me with your interests and we can see about putting a trade together too!!

I will try and get some pictures in a couple weeks . I hhad a pacmaker ut in last week so i am grounded for a few weeks . here i can collect rhyolite , different agates and jaspers . I have green lizard stone , some rock from McCracken mine , Chuck posted ome of the rough and cabs a couple weeks ago from some stuff i sent him but i am not skilled enough to figure out how to list the thread here ., perhaps if he reads this hecan show which thread it is

I have a tumbler running now with some lizard stone in it. Some is very soft and wont i know , but most of it is hard and polishs well
