Looks like a stack of saw blades to me Daniel but it's not a real good photo.

I would think it's a saw blade. He says it is .06'' wide. That's about right.

Yea I bet its a stack as well since he put in there that he was given a stack of these. If it really is what he says thats a steal of a price on those.

Given the "grinding wheel" designation,I guess the relevant questions are what grit and how are the diamonds bonded (slintered?) ... ??
I don't have a 12" or 14" saw, but this might be a real good buy for someone who could use it. I guess it might be possible to contact Norton about the part#
Oh well

These look like old commercial tile saw blades. You can ask the seller how many are up for auction. He probably can't help with sintered versus plated.

As a wild guess, it may be a part of a set. I have seen stacks of blades used for a grinding wheel; for a club it makes sense in the long run. On a commerical grind machine, 6 or 12 stacked together may last longer then a wheel 2" wide. Just a guess. Bill

OK, but what is CBN, and would this work as a saw blade or is the grit too fine?

From the Norton site, "Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) abrasives ". The only other ref to this type of grit I've ever seen was in use with drilling; a brass tube and grit. Bill

Also, on their site, the cbn wheels are for steel and the dimond wheels are for non-farris material. Bill
